When the purveyors themselves (apparently) confess that their writing is deliberately obscure then one has to wonder a little about their intellectual integrity. Or is that just a vulgar anglo-saxon caricature demonstrating my lack of appreciation of obscurantism as a legitimate academic lifestyle choice? Well, whatever, I'm with Searle on this one.
